Located between San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria, California, Get-A-Mattress is now the largest mattress and comfort store in the USA with over 170 test rest mattresses on display and over 25 brands.

“Eco Chihuahua” has proudly become the official spokes model of Get-A-Mattress. He has been brought to life for us by NYC Designer, Al Eugene Naclerio.

We originally saw Eco Chihuahua as a slight touch of Eco-Correctness. Little did we know that “Eco”, as we call him, would become our alter ego. He is a tree hugging, pro-environmentalist, with concern of health for self, for family and all his friends.

At first we were afraid to have Eco as our spokes model, but as it has turned out, he wasn't some radical. His message became clear, and one of the vital importance…..that sleeping in a safe and natural environment was now universally understood and accepted! This message has now become main stream in today’s mattress world.

We quickly learned that we did not have to hide behind Eco Chihuahua and that the consumer would readily accept Eco and everything he stood for! We are proud of Eco for leading Get-A-Mattress into the wonderful world of natural latex mattresses, produced by companies such as "Pure Latex Bliss”, "OMI" and "Natura!"

We are just as proud to show off the Wonderful wool products from companies like "Suite Sleep” and "Sleep and Beyond" that have worked their way into today's mainstream, mattress and sleep accessory market, and into Get-A-Mattress.
